Prague - Vienna - Budapest

Day 01, Arrival Prague
Orientation tour of Prague and transfer to the hotel. Welcome dinner in a traditional brewery restaurants of Prague, enjoy the tasty food and the cold beer.

Day 02, Prague
After breakfast, ½ day guided City Tour with visit of the Vaclav Square, the commercial heart of Prague, the Old Town Square, the Royal Castle Hradshin and the Cathedral of St. Vitus. The visit includes main parts of the castle, the Cathedral, the Golden Lane and the Royal Gardens. Afternoon is free to explore the city on your own. Dinner at local restaurant and overnight in Prague. (B, D)
Day 03, Prague – Brno - Vienna
breakfast we travel to Brno – where we will have time for lunch – and continue over the boarder to Austria to its capital Vienna. Orientation tour of Vienna and dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight in Vienna. (B, D)
Day 04, Vienna/ Danube Valley
After breakfast we set off for a full day tour to the Danube Valley. Guided tour of Krems and visit the famous wine-cellars of Lenz Moser, where the typical wines of the Danube Valley are produced- wine tasting of 8 wines included. On our way back visit Klosterneuburg Abbey, also famous for the wine specialties of their own production- including wine tasting.

Day 05, Vienna/ Retz
Full day excursion - visit the city of Retz with sightseeing attractions such as an old Dominican Monastery, the city walls, the Hauptplatz main square with lots of 16th century houses and the castle of Schloss Gatterburg. Enjoy a dinner and wine tasting at the Retzer Erlebniskeller.

Day 06, Vienna Woods
Full day tour to the southern Vienna Woods. This excursion will show you the Abbey of Heiligenkreuz (Cistercensian Abbey) in the south of Vienna. After a short indoor visit, the tour continues to Mayerling, former hunting-lodge of the Emperors (visit). In the afternoon our excursions leads us to Gumpoldskirchen, we will visit the Spätrot winery and taste 4 wines of this region. Stop in Baden for a walking tour of this beautiful spa resort and dinner.

Day 07, Vienna - Budapest
After breakfast drive to Budapest followed by a city tour including highlights such as the chain Bridge, Heroes square the magnificent Opera House, St Stephen Basilica, the Castle District, Mathias Church and the Fisherman’s Bastion. The tour ends by the Market Hall. Relax at the Café Gerbeaud enjoying Coffee & Cake. Dinner will be served in a typical traditional Hungarian restaurant with Gipsy Music and a Folklore Show.

Day 08, Danube Bend excursion
Many rich historical, cultural and architectural treasures have been preserved for posterity in the region. See Visegrád, the former capital of Hungary, and visit the royal Palace and the Citadel. Afterwards gourmet lunch with game specialties. In the afternoon free time.
